Candice Agree

Candice Agree joined WFMT in 2013, continuing a radio career that began with an internship at WNBC for Howard Stern and continued in Washington, DC (WETA, VOA) and New York City (WQXR, WNCN, WNYC, WAXQ, ABC Radio Network, Sirius XM.)

An off-camera and promo announcer with CBS News since 1998, she’s heard on CBS Sunday Morning, Evening News, and Weekend News, as well as Sunday Morning on the Radio and CBS News podcasts. As a voice actor, she’s garnered a national presence in promos, audio books, industrials, commercials, animation, and new media. After studying theory and composition at Eastman School of Music, Candice received a degree in Russian from Barnard College. A Foundation for Iberian Music Contributing Scholar, her program The Spanish Hour has been distributed nationally since 2010 via PRX.

She and her husband run Media Attic Radio, a 24-hour internet radio station. At WFMT, Candice hosts weekdays from 2:00 to 7:00 pm, Baroque&Before on Wednesdays at 10:00 pm, and the Ryan Opera Center Recital Series at 5:00 pm on the first Sunday of every month.
